Stayed 2 nights at Montford Cottage, Windermere. The hosts, Jane & Paul were very welcoming and served up a generous breakfast. The room, with ensuite, was cosy, comfortable and perfect for our needs. Conveniently located between Windermere & Bowness, so that we were spoilt for choice for pubs, restaurants & shopping.Highly recommend Montford Cottages. - Bob & Alice W
Montfort cottage is a lovely place to stay.We have been staying there for a few years now. The hosts, Paul and Jane are very friendly and helpful.The rooms are comfortable, clean and have everything you need. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice, highly recommend!- Paul and Sue
We had an amazing time at Montfort Cottage. The hosts Paul and Jane couldn't do enough. Room was perfect with little extras, coffee tea, biscuits, hairdryer. En-suite facilities were spotless.Breakfast choices were varied and plentiful. An excellent location to walk to Bowness or Windermere (either way 10 mins) and a great base for adventures further afield.- Nick Y
